Dedication Hymn
INow unto Thee, our God and King,
The labor of our hands we bring:
But not as gift, for every stone
And grain of sand and iron bar
Belong to Thee and Thee alone,
As we ourselves Thy children are.
II
Here what our hands have dared to try
We bring to Thee to sanctify:
Not as creation of our own,-
For all who gave of wealth or thought
Or handiwork or steel and stone
Together with Thyself have wrought.
III
Yet since our human hands may dare
With Thee creative tasks to share,
Help us to use with rev'rent awe
These spacious halls from year to year;
And in Thy Love and in Thy Law
Build up Thy earthly Kingdom here.
Amen.
